Q&A with Jenny Damm

What do you focus on most when teaching?

I want my students to truly understand how their body and voice can guide the dog and I always try to find the best handling and training tools for each team. I push my students out of their comfort zone and help them achieve new training goals. I put a lot of energy and time to make people understand the power of rewards. That rewards are so much more than a cookie or a toy. It's a world of magic mushrooms appearing in the perfect spot at the perfect timing!

What mistakes do handlers make most often?

They are not in the present time, so they lose the connection to the dog.
